Community is an essential part of who we are. We have over 175 players spanning a wide range of ages, genders, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, and outside interests but we come together to play lacrosse, sweat together and support each other.
In our view community extends from the group of players on a team, to players' parents and relatives, to the club as a whole, to our sponsors and other small local businesses that support us, and to the wider Shoreline and Lake Forest Park communities. If you are new to our community, we welcome you with open arms.
Building and maintaining community takes effort, though. Whether that is putting together social events, showing up for a teammate's orchestra recital, taking a few extra minutes at drop-off to check in on another parent, supporting a sponsor's business, hiring a high school player to babysit or do yard work, encouraging a friend to try lacrosse, or volunteering for the club. Making that effort makes all of us better.
