Return to Safe Play Protocols

On March 22nd we moved to Phase 3 of the Healthy Washington Plan.  The City of Shoreline have provided the following Phase 3 guidance:

The main changes to Shoreline field use requirements in Phase 3 are:

• Tournaments are allowed by permit only on soccer fields and baseball diamonds.  Must follow state Covid-19 guidance for tournaments.
•Maximum attendance is 150 per field (includes players, coaches, referees, and spectators).
•Masks are required for everyone at all times with the exception of players competing in a medium risk sport (soccer/baseball) game or tournament. Players must wear masks at all other times including practice, training, and on the sidelines during games.

Guidelines for returning to play lacrosse.

In order to participate in events, club members are required to read and conform to our Return to Safe Play protocol documents listed below.

Both the City of Shoreline and Shoreline Public Schools have policies posted  which require 100% compliance.  Our protocols below are crafted with the most current information available with the intent of keeping players and families as safe as possible.

In addition to the Shoreline Lacrosse Code of Conduct, during registration, families will sign the COVID-19 waver (document available below).

Thank you,

Walter Valenzuela, Director of Lacrosse
Christy Neff, Girls Program Director
and the Shoreline Youth Lacrosse Board

The word document above, Combined Return to Safe Play Protocols,  is all of the various protocols listed previously combined into one document.

Shoreline School District Facility Use Statement:

Phase 2 requires that ALL athletes, coaches, volunteers, referees and spectators are required to wear masks at ALL TIMES.  (even when playing)
Please take the extra precaution to be 100% compliant with this rule so that we might continue to keep our fields open.  It is the expectation that your organization can return to play if you are certain that ALL ATHLETES, COACHES, VOLUNTEERS, REFEREES & SPECTATORS associated with your organization WILL WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES (car-to-car) at Shoreline School District facilities.
