Dear Shoreline Lacrosse Community,
The fundraiser is over! If you haven't delivered orders/payment by 5:00pm on Sunday, November 1, 2020 then we won't be able to accept your orders. Next step: Pies will be delivered to us for pick-up on November 16th! Stay tuned for specific times and locations!
Our Fall Fundraiser began October 19th! This year we have partnered with Willamette Valley Pie Company to provide a fun and delicious fundraising event. These pies are amazing and all the money raised will go towards fields, league fees and scholarships. Successful fundraising involves our whole community. Consider purchasing a couple for your own family to enjoy if that is where you are most comfortable or reach out to friends and community members.
Here is how to participate:
Pick up the order form at the check-in table at the clinic this week.
Download a printable copy of the order form below this announcement.
Then collect orders & payment from friends and family over the next two weeks.
Payment can be via:
If people are not using the order form or their purchase isn't recorded on an order form, please enter the pie(s) ordered on the note section of the check or the Paypal payment.
All orders must be received with payment by November 1, 2020.
The last fallball practice day may be easier for some families and orders can be turned in at the check in table.
This is a fast fundraiser lasting only 2 weeks!
The pies arrive on November 16th, right time for Thanksgiving and holiday meals. The items will be frozen so this requires some promptness on everyone's part for pick-up and delivery.
Thank you for your participation and in helping to keep our program strong!

Players and parents,
As we all settle into participating in school classes at our kitchen tables and Zoom meetings try to remember that it is temporary and take a moment to enjoy this time we have with our children. It is hard to believe that it has been 6 months since we last took the practice field as a team. We hope everyone is doing well in these extraordinary times. As we begin organizing our club's activity for 2020/2021, we have some answers as to how our lacrosse journey will take shape moving forward.
The start of spring youth lacrosse season remains up in the air at this time. The Washington State High School season has been set and will run April 26th to June 27th. And our girls program association, WSLA will run from April 19th to June 13th. Our regional boys youth association, will likely line up with the these two groups as well. We will keep you informed as the 2021 season shapes up.
FALL BALL! (registration)
We have reserved Hamlin Park, Field #6 for the month of October to host youth clinics/practices on Monday and Wednesdays beginning October 5th. These sessions will go from 5:00-6pm. Reminder that Hamlin Park is a grass field. As of right now our last youth session will be on Wednesday October 28th. Fall ball is an important time for players to meet or reconnect with teammates, work with coaches to achieve greater lacrosse IQ and to improve skill levels. Practice time spent in the fall prepares players for greater success during the upcoming spring club season. Note that some slight time and field adjustments might occur to help accommodate more players.
-Phase 2 which means we are allowed to be in small groups of 5 and must adhere to the social distance regulations. We can spread out across the outfield and get to work on our basic skills, shooting and an introduction to our offensive and defensive systems. All you need is your stick, helmet and gloves for these sessions. Phase 2 practices will be limited to about 60-75 minutes.
-Phase 3 means we would be able to hold a relatively normal practice session. These sessions will be full gear and last for 90 minutes.
Youth clinics will be for kids in grades 2-7 (some new 8th graders as well). We will separate players in age groups or skill level once we get on the field.
Registration opens Monday, September 18th. There is a small fee to help cover field and coaching costs plus we need to confirm your valid US lacrosse number and contact information. Our Return to Safe Play protocols are posted on our website. We need to be careful to ensure we do our part to ensure we have a season this spring.
Players will need to come to the field dressed for practice If you need to borrow gear you can send a note to the registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will make sure you get gear before you hit the field. We are excited to see all our players back on the field, working hard and having a great time!
Please reach out to us if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
Good luck with online schooling. Stay safe!

Program Director/High School Head Coach
